The history of Nanos village is closely connected with traditional rural life. In earlier times, agriculture was the main occupation of the villagers. Paddy cultivation, cashew, coconut, and horticulture were the primary sources of income.
Before India’s independence, the region was influenced by local princely administration. After independence, with the implementation of the Panchayati Raj system, Nanos Gram Panchayat was established, which helped in the development of the village.
Over the years, facilities such as education, roads, water supply, electricity, and sanitation have improved. Today, Nanos is known as a village that preserves its cultural heritage while progressing towards development.
